A Buen Camino From The Camino Centre in Matosinho On The Portuguese Camino De Santiago

I paid a little visit to the Camino centre in Matosinhos just outside of Porto for a stamp in my pilgrim passport on my recent Portuguese Camino de Santiago.

While the centre is located along the beach front of the first section of the route between Porto and Vila do Conde, many pilgrims choose to head straight to the centre to avoid walking through the outskirts of Porto.

The centre supports pilgrims by providing information on the Portuguese routes and any additional advice they may need moving forward on their Camino. Perfect for pilgrims who haven’t walked a Camino route before who may be feeling anxious or nervous.

I was greeted with a smile and a warm Buen Camino by a staff member as you can see from the photograph.

What a wonderful way to begin a Camino de Santiago!
