Wild Camino Self-Guided Journey

For a thousand years, millions of people have walked the legendary Camino de Santiago, experiencing the spirit of the Camino and life as a Pilgrim.

The Portuguese Camino de Santiago offers spectacular scenery, rich cultural and culinary delights of Portugal and Spain, friendly locals and Pilgrims who will share the Camino experience.

At the end of every Camino de Santiago lies Santiago de Compostela where legend says St James was laid to rest.

Upon reaching Santiago Cathedral, every Pilgrim receives a Compostela (certificate) to show that they have walked the Camino de Santiago.

This is not just a walk. This is a journey of a lifetime.

The Portuguese Camino de Santiago runs a total of 600km from Lisbon to Santiago.

It is a tale of two beautiful countries; Portugal and Spain.

You´ll have the opportunity to explore and experience two different cultures.

You have three main starting points to choose from; Lisbon, Porto or Valenca/Tui.

Most Pilgrims choose to begin their Caminos in the beautiful cities of Porto To Santiago ( 270km) or Valenca/ Tui To Santiago (116km).

There are three Portuguese Camino de Santiago routes; the Coastal, Central and Espiritual Route, all of which lead to Santiago.
